This was our first time visiting from the neighborhood and the food was filling and beautifully presented. Our server James was very accommodating and suggested the RockFish which my husband loved! I had a small discrepancy in my Buffalo Shrimp Salad and he was very understanding and got it fixed right away which I genuinely appreciated! They also have happy hour M-F 4-7p and a couple of non-alcoholic options (LOVED the grapefruit spritzer) for the non drinkers! Today was a slower day because of the weather, but we will definitely be back when it’s more active and warm out to see what Castaways is really about!! :)

Wow, great food! Had the lobster nachos and blackened redfish. I tried to eat it slowly, because it was so good, but wound up wolfing it down, because it was so good. Wife had the crab cakes and they were great, not overly breaded. If I had another stomach, the scallop and shrimp carbonara would be going down too.

Danielle took care of our little group tonight. I had the tuna tower (to die for! Super fresh and I can't wait to eat it again!) and my bestie had firecracker shrimp. Both hubby's loved their fish and chips and fried shrimp. Everything was fantastic. Monday night margarita deals were the icing on the cake. Thank you Danielle and Castaways.

The food was really good. I had some wing, salmon salad and a couple of margaritas. The wings were top tier, some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was pretty chill almost has a Caribbean beach vibe to it. My only negative is as the seating was pretty close together. Ppl had to walk sideways between my table as they were trying to get to the bathroom.

Visiting Savannah and looking for a restaurant that served seafood and got good ratings from customers. Castaways was an excellent choice! Our wait staff, Cole, was excellent. Even took a group photo for us. Thanks, Cole! The Blackened Redfish, the Fish and Chips, and the Kingston Curried Salmon were fantastic...as were the drinks. Although seating between tables was a little close for me, it didn't take away from the overall experience. Don't think twice about going. You won't be disappointed.

Castaways is the perfect coastal eating scene! The vibe is relaxed and classy. The food is above what one would expect in a hideaway. I come here every time I need a reminder of what relaxed coastal living is about! Please never change! And the wings are perfect!

This is the best local gem we’ve found in our 4 years living in Savannah. The atmosphere is very fun, the cocktails are fantastic but the food..absolutely fan-freaking-tastic! We were blown away by the food! So much so, that my husband wanted to pick up to go lunch the next day to try more things of theirs. Shannon and Megan were outstanding hosts and we can not wait for our next date night here. They had fun, live music with great sing-a-long songs and everyone we met felt like instant friends. Also, as an added bonus(unlike anywhere downtown) if you decide to uber home your vehicle is safe in the parking lot overnight. We look forward to our next visit at Castaways! Kristen & Corey

We were in from out of town and looking for some good seafood. This was way better than good. Everything we had was top-notch. Photos don’t do it justice. Our group of four tried the She Crab Stew (off the day’s specials menu), the soft shell crab blt (also a special), the fish and chips, and the blackened redfish. Everything was very fresh, flavorful, and better than the next dish. The blackened redfish had so many unique flavors with sweet little bite sized peppers, mango, and coconut. The fish in the fish and chips was lightly battered and a nice portion size. Perfect ratio of fish:batter. As a side note, I’ve never had fries like the ones here. They were thick spiral cut. Lastly, the service was equally as good as the dishes. I wish I’d gotten our server’s name to post here — he was the really nice, informative, bearded dude. Thanks for the great recommendations!
